Senior Product Owner

Description

The Senior Product Owner at CIBC will be responsible for defining and executing the Wealth roadmap, specifically focusing on secure document upload, sharing, and client data exchange. This role involves leading the strategy and delivery of modern capabilities that enable clients, advisors, and partners to securely submit, access, share, and manage documentation and client data throughout onboarding and servicing journeys. The individual will lead discovery to understand end-to-end document collection, validation, and sharing processes, assess current technologies, and identify areas for improvement.

What We're Looking For

Define and evolve the strategy for secure document and client data capabilities across Wealth, establishing a scalable and future-ready approach.,Develop and manage a multi-year roadmap focused on improving secure collection, sharing, accessing, and governing documents and client data.,Guide the evolution of capabilities like secure upload, digital storage, structured client data collection, and controlled access to information.,Assess current processes, technologies, and workflows to streamline document and data exchange and integrate with Wealth platforms.,Lead delivery from discovery through implementation, working with cross-functional teams and translating business needs into clear product requirements.,Ability to work within complex technology ecosystems, including platform integrations.,Take accountability for outcomes and embrace change and enterprise-wide impact.

Ideal Candidate

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, or similar role within Wealth Management, Capital Markets, or Financial Services.,Strong understanding of Agile product delivery and backlog management in complex enterprise environments.,Expertise in process mapping and re-engineering (e.g., Visio), including current- and future-state design.,Solid understanding of Wealth onboarding models, including advisor-led and agent-assisted processes.
