The Senior Product Manager, Mutual Funds, will report to the Director, Product Development and Management, Mutual Funds. This role involves supporting product innovation, development, shelf management, and strategic priorities for CIBC's Mutual Funds offering. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing new product initiatives, managing product enhancements, and advancing business initiatives across CIBC Asset Management’s product platforms. The manager will oversee the product lineup, considering sales and client feedback, market data, and the competitive landscape. This role requires collaboration with various teams such as sales, marketing, portfolio management, and operations, and providing analytical support to optimize the product mix and enhance client experience.
Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in product development and management, strategic planning, and project management, preferably in financial services or asset management.,Lead the development and management of the CIBC Asset Management Mutual Funds product offer, providing investment insight for market-leading products.,Serve as the key lead in developing and implementing new products or enhancements initiatives and developing business cases and recommendations.,Collaborate with the Product Research and Positioning team on product development content, positioning, and competitive analysis.,Maintain deep knowledge of the product offering across platforms, channels, and product features.,Deliver the implementation of enhancements to the CIBC Asset Management Mutual Funds product offer.,Analyze business needs and objectives and participate in the development and implementation of strategic product plans, including ongoing operational management and support.,Manage key stakeholders such as legal, tax, business management, regulatory, and risk.,Assemble and manage a project team to implement new products or services.,Provide ongoing management in the delivery of products or services, ensuring consistency with CIBC's values and business plans.,Maintain comprehensive competitive information on market penetration, product capabilities, and initiatives.,Work with internal and external teams to communicate product information and key positioning.,Understand and interpret complex information, identify patterns and trends, and develop recommendations.,Demonstrate well-developed management and leadership skills to achieve results within a matrix organization, including driving change at a senior level.,Possess creative skills to identify innovative alternatives or opportunities.,Meet business objectives by managing relationships with internal and external partners.
University degree in Business or Finance.,CFA candidate or charter holder preferred.,Other industry accreditations an asset (e.g., CSC, CFP, IFIC).
