The Senior Product Manager for Money Movement is responsible for overseeing the flow of capital into and out of RBC Wealth Management-US. This role focuses on optimizing the "velocity of money" for high-net-worth clients by streamlining fund movements via ACH, Bill Pay, and P2P (e.g., Zelle). It is a critical position that blends product innovation with strategic risk management, involving the development of intelligent payment systems to enhance funds availability and transaction limits while simultaneously building robust infrastructure to protect the firm and clients from evolving threats.
Design and execute a strategy to transition from traditional "next-day" settlement to near-real-time and enhance ACH capabilities.,Direct the evolution of the P2P payment experience, tailoring standard consumer tools for wealth management clients.,Modernize the Digital Bill Pay suite, moving beyond legacy platforms to a streamlined, integrated experience.,Lead the product vision for a Variable Limits Engine that dynamically adjusts transfer caps based on real-time risk signals.,Optimize "Hold" logic for incoming transfers to increase immediate funds availability for trading, using risk-based segmentation.,Integrate advanced authentication and behavioral analytics into money movement flow to reduce "friendly fraud" and account takeovers.,Act as the primary liaison between the Wealth Management Product team and the Enterprise Payments team to prioritize wealth-specific requirements.,Lead a cross-functional "Squad" including Engineers, UX Designers, Risk Officers, and Legal Counsel.,Drive the adoption of API-first architecture for flexible money movement integrations with third-party fintech apps.,Ensure all money movement workflows comply with Regulation E, NACHA rules, and evolving AML/CTF requirements.,Monitor operational health through dashboards tracking "Success Rates," "Time to Settle," and "Return/Reversal Rates."
Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field.,7+ years in Product Management, with at least 4 years focused on Payments, Money Movement, or FinTech Risk.,Expert knowledge of ACH (Standard, Same-Day), Bill Pay rails, and P2P networks.,Familiarity with The Clearing House (TCH) or FedNow is a major plus.,Demonstrated experience working with Risk/Fraud models to tune "False Positive" rates and improve client experience.,Ability to use data to justify higher limits and faster availability cycles; comfortable with SQL, Tableau, or similar data tools.,Ability to navigate a complex matrixed environment and build consensus among competing stakeholders.
