Senior Product Manager - Lending Products, Transaction Banking

Description

As a Senior Product Manager within the Lending Products team of Transaction Banking at CIBC, you will support the Group Product Manager and Director in achieving business objectives. This involves managing relationships with various internal partners for product management and projects related to Lending and Trade products, as well as specialty Government support programs. You will contribute to the development, management, presentation, and implementation of tactics to build the business, optimize profitability, efficiency, growth, and improve client experience. You will also assist in developing, implementing, and promoting specialty lending programs for specific segments and industries. What We're Looking For

Provide ongoing product management support for an assigned product portfolio, including leading investigations on day-to-day inquiries from stakeholders (sales, client support, operations, legal, etc.).,Assist in product roadmap development by conducting competitive reviews, compiling and analyzing market and client data, and creating product presentations.,Support the implementation of new processes and procedures for internal stakeholders and clients.,Act as a focal point for product and market information, offering specialized support for client solutions during the sales cycle.,Provide subject matter expertise to internal business partners to support business cases, requirement documents, product collateral, and communications.,Assist in developing product strategy, annual business plans, and recommendations/business cases for client-supporting programs.,Contribute to the successful delivery of key initiatives.,Provide subject matter expertise to reflect business and client needs in critical initiatives.,Support timely and comprehensive knowledge of technology, target market segments, and key clients.

Ideal Candidate

Experience in Commercial Banking Lending Services, with preferred experience in managing products.,Strong knowledge of product lifecycle with demonstrated project delivery skills.,Understanding of the bank's network and operations.,Ability to take full responsibility for client interaction with financial services products.,Drive and demonstrated ability to improve client experience.,Digitally savvy, seeking innovative solutions and embracing evolving technologies.,Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.,Strong analytical skills, capable of understanding and drawing conclusions from data.,Experience in building financial models and conducting/understanding credit risk analysis.,High value for building effective working relationships and collaboration.,Understanding the power of an inclusive team.,Client-first approach, engaging with purpose to find solutions.,Adherence to CIBC values: trust, teamwork, and accountability.
