Description
Epic Games is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Programmer to ensure the stability of multiple games across various platforms including PC, consoles, and mobile. This role involves identifying and preventing live issues, optimizing memory and performance, developing system changes for reliability, building automation tools, and serving as a communication hub for technical guidance.
What We're Looking For
Analyze and optimize memory and performance in scalable systems (high-end to mobile).,Ensure technical approaches satisfy both surface-level and deeper programming requirements.,Propose and develop system changes to support reliability and integrate them with game teams.,Build tools to automate and validate performance in critical systems.,Act as a primary communication and information hub for other disciplines.
Ideal Candidate
Experience developing games professionally and shipping AAA titles.,Strong C++ skills and ability to code and create game systems and tools.,Familiarity with scripting systems (Blueprint, Lua, Python, etc.).,Console and mobile experience (preferred).,Performance profiling and optimization experience.,Experience with Unreal Engine (highly preferred).,Experience working on a live service game (preferred).
