The Senior Personal Banker will act as the branch expert in wealth growth, delivering personalized investment advice, staying updated on market trends, and proactively connecting clients with suitable solutions and specialists. Responsibilities include managing the client experience, building long-term relationships, identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships across all banking needs, building trust, simplifying processes, and committing to continuous personal and professional development to provide high-quality advice.
High School diploma.
Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent accreditation.
Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA) - FPI & PFSA, or equivalent accreditation.
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, including managing client relationships, providing financial advice, and offering investment solutions.
Deep knowledge and expertise in investment products and services (e.g., Mutual funds, GICs, RSP, market growth).
In-depth knowledge of RESL, day-to-day banking, and all other TD products and services.
Client-focused mindset with accountability for responsible, strategic pricing practices and financial outcomes.
Problem-solving and people skills to de-escalate challenging situations and efficiently resolve client complaints with empathy.
Strong regulatory, AML, and compliance knowledge to uphold integrity.
Drive to engage in client outreach and community presence to acquire new assets and deepen client relationships.
Ability to work a rotation across branch hours of operation to ensure advice delivery when clients need it.
Required Accreditation: Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent.
Required Accreditation: Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA) - FPI & PFSA, or equivalent.
Preferred: Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field.
Nice-to-have: Other accreditations (e.g., Financial Planning II).
