Senior Personal Banker - Home Borrowing Future Opportunities

Description

The Senior Personal Banker at TD Canada Trust builds and maintains strong customer relationships, primarily by offering financial advice on home borrowing. The role requires deep knowledge of Real Estate Secured Lending products, as well as general investing and day-to-day banking services. Key responsibilities include understanding customer financial needs, providing tailored solutions, enhancing financial confidence through ongoing dialogue, and acting as a subject matter expert. This individual will also conduct proactive customer outreach, stay informed on local market trends, ensure accurate documentation, and actively contribute to team goals and business growth by acquiring and retaining customers.

What We're Looking For

Create a consistent and exceptional customer experience in the branch, with a focus on home borrowing advice.,Possess deep knowledge and expertise of Real Estate Secured Lending products, investing, day-to-day banking, and all other TDCT products and services.,Ask thoughtful questions to uncover and understand customer needs, owning solutions that align to the mandate.,Improve customer financial confidence through ongoing dialogue and by providing advice.,Act as a subject matter expert for both customers and colleagues regarding TD products, services, policies, and procedures, especially for personal and business banking.,Maintain a professional and inviting space in all common areas of the branch.,Consistently engage in proactive customer outreach (via phone, email, community presence) to discuss portfolio updates and additional opportunities.,Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends.,Ensure prepared documentation is accurate, reflects customer/business intentions, and is retained according to policies.,Participate fully as a team member, supporting a positive work environment and ensuring timely communication.,Contribute to business objectives by proactively attracting, acquiring, and retaining customers and referrals to drive growth for TD.

Ideal Candidate

High School diploma and/or Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in related field) preferred,Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA)
