The Senior Engineer will join the Equity Derivatives team to design and develop application and system solutions for business challenges, primarily for trading stakeholders. This involves full-stack development, improving system performance and stability, supporting new products, and progressing towards future architectural goals. Transform business requirements and research into effective delivery solutions.,Perform full-stack development (UI to app services).,Conduct systems administration: monitor, configure, back-up, authenticate, tune.,Ensure defect-free programming, create and maintain quality code, provide testing and post-production support, participate in peer code reviews.,Contribute to project plans, estimations, and status updates.,Identify, develop, and maintain processes to resolve issues, communicating alerts to stakeholders.,Focus on day-to-day activities, enhancements, and troubleshooting.,Configure and develop custom components with technology partners.,Ensure applications are free of common coding vulnerabilities and follow security practices.,Proactively propose ideas for project objectives (development, testing solutions, tools).,Complete unit and integration testing per standards and design specs.,Participate in scope assessment, risk, and cost analysis.,Adhere to TD's technology delivery practices and standards.,Monitor state-of-health and monthly SLA targets.,Apply technical expertise during incident management (analyze reports, impact assessments, stakeholder communication).,Demonstrate high level of proactivity and strong ownership.,Play a technical leadership role and guide other team members.,Communicate effectively within and outside the team.,Develop a good understanding of Market Risk management processes.
