Description

This role involves developing and executing sales strategies to increase revenue from commercial clients by offering Trade Finance Solutions. The specialist will focus on delivering an exceptional client experience through tailored solutions that meet business and financial goals, fostering loyalty, and driving innovation. The role also requires proactively enabling clients to use digital solutions, identifying opportunities for referrals to deepen client relationships, and meeting their financial needs.

What We're Looking For

Demonstrate client stewardship and care in every decision and activity,Maximize client interactions, providing advice, referrals, and digital enablement,Follow Practice Management playbooks for sales routines, market and portfolio planning, and client interactions,Thorough understanding of client's financial position, industry, business model, management capabilities, and ability to repay loans,Build, advance, and actively replenish a pipeline of prospective clients to meet sales and revenue goals,Maximize technology use (synergy, CPM, Pipeline Report, OLMS, Newton, Sales Reports, etc.) and maintain data integrity,Plan and prioritize client and market activities to achieve collective success at RBC,Seek referral opportunities for relationship team members or RBC partners,Exercise due diligence with all transactions: know your client, transaction, credit structure, risk-analysis, and client strategy

Ideal Candidate

Minimum two years' Commercial Credit Experience,Experience working with Trade Finance Products,Demonstrated ability to create an exceptional client experience and deepen relationships,Effective communication and negotiation skills
