KPMG is seeking a Senior Manager for their Private Enterprise Tax group in Kelowna, Canada. This role involves working with business owners and entrepreneurs, leading tax planning initiatives, directing junior staff, and developing tax strategies to help clients capitalize on opportunities and grow their businesses.
What We're Looking For
Lead small and medium-sized client engagements.,Work closely with other team members on client tax planning.,Plan and organize teams for tax return preparation.,Conduct and present tax research.,Advise on planning opportunities, tax minimization strategies, and compliance issues.,Review work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness.,Service the planning and compliance needs of clients.,Provide ongoing support and mentoring for staff professional development.,Minimum 5 years specializing in Tax in a public accounting firm.,Professional Accounting Designation.,Completion of the In-Depth Tax Course.,Excellent leadership and people management skills.,Strong verbal and written communication skills.,Ability to research and write utilizing electronic tax tools.,Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities.,Strong project management and organizational skills.
