The Senior Manager, Resiliency and Risk, within the AC Product & Platforms (ACP&P) team, is responsible for establishing operational routines and processes with business, IT, and operational partners to ensure the resiliency and risk posture of the team's products. This role focuses on enhancing product monitoring, gaining deep insights into product health and channel utilization, and identifying root causes of downtime. The manager will use this data to drive improvements, limit fraudulent activities, enhance client experience, and improve efficiency for advisors. Additionally, the role involves managing and closing open risk items, updating risk documentation, and ensuring the team remains compliant with Enterprise reporting needs. Occasional support for overnight technical implementations and ad hoc product outages may be required.
Partner with IT (ACBT), vendors, fraud, and risk partners to create new routines and evolve monitoring processes for channel performance, identifying trends and assisting Product Owners with actionable recommendations.,Deliver key insights on channel usage and risks, uncovering customer usage patterns to improve safety, security, and gain business insights.,Collaborate with the SRE team to develop a holistic view of portfolio changes needed to achieve business goals and reduce risk.,Lead the team's risk practice, mapping out solutions and driving closure for Archer risks (e.g., Model X Risk, Open business risks, IT findings).,Become a thought leader on how system and operational architectures impact business goal execution.,Research and stay current on multiple technology platforms and industry trends, especially related to fraud and resiliency reporting.,Analyze and monitor channel performance to identify trends and assist Product Owners in developing actionable recommendations.,Work with business and IT partners (ACBT and others) to assess critical ACP&P business processes and systems end-to-end, identifying resiliency risks, creating/updating risk documents, and ensuring closure of open risks.
5-7 years of similar experience in Risk or Product Management.,Proven experience in Project Management.,Strong business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills.,Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.,Strong written and oral communication skills.,Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships across all organizational levels.,Nice to have: Call centre experience (specifically in WFM or leadership roles).,Nice to have: RBC Digital Product Management experience.
