Senior Manager, Reporting and Analytics

This role is with RBC's Physical Network Strategy team, responsible for the strategy and execution of Canadian Banking's physical network (branches and ATMs). The Reporting & Analytics team develops high-level strategies for physical distribution channel investment, including planning, governance, business case development, and post-execution performance reporting. The Senior Manager will drive data-driven decision-making to optimize the branch network, evaluate post-execution performance, and deliver actionable insights for strategic initiatives, requiring a blend of analytical rigor, technical expertise, and strategic thinking.

What We're Looking For

Lead end-to-end analytics for branch network optimization, including branch, market, and network assessments, and customer behavior analysis.,Develop and maintain dashboards/reports in Tableau to track KPIs, monitor trends, and visualize insights for executive stakeholders.,Leverage SQL and advanced statistical techniques (e.g., regression, clustering) to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.,Evaluate post-execution impact of network changes, identifying success metrics and areas for improvement.,Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Distribution Strategy, peer data teams) to align analytics with business objectives.,Foster a culture of data-driven problem-solving.,Prioritize Data Integrity: Very strong attention to detail, prioritizing completeness and accuracy in all activities.,Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations.,Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (or Python/R) for data manipulation and Tableau for visualization.,Statistical Expertise: Experience with predictive modeling, A/B testing, or geospatial analysis.,AI: Apply AI and automation tools to streamline analytics workflows and accelerate insight delivery.,Business Acumen: Understanding of retail banking operations, customer behavior, and capital expenditure management.,Leadership: Track record of influencing stakeholders and driving results in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
