Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product controllers, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.,Oversee daily, monthly, and quarterly balance sheet and P&L reporting for Capital Markets and Treasury derivatives and securities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.,Perform reconcilement of general ledger accounts, resolve reconciling issues, and ensure reporting aligns with US GAAP and IFRS.,Oversee collateral movements and reconcile the bank's securities against counterparties.,Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks associated with product control activities.,Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, and Finance teams to resolve issues and support business initiatives.,Drive automation, standardization, and enhancement of product control processes.,Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.,Provide analysis and commentary on financial results and market trends to senior management.,Support internal and external audit processes, maintaining robust controls and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).,8+ years of relevant experience in product control, financial reporting, or related roles within banking or capital markets.,Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.,Strong technical skills in financial products (derivatives, fixed income, etc.), valuation, and risk management.,Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Xtrader, WSS, TPG, Cognos, FIS) is an asset.,Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.,Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (IFRS, US GAAP, etc.).,Strategic thinker with a background in leadership & people development.,Solid financial acumen, risk awareness, and change management experience.
