Senior Manager, Priority Segment Partnerships (Newcomers)

Description

This role involves working with internal and external partners to develop and lead strategic partnerships, business development activities, programs, and offers to grow CIBC's priority segments, specifically for newcomers. The position requires market research, data analysis, and relationship management to identify and execute partnership opportunities and support new business generation through various channels.

What We're Looking For

Conduct external market research to identify partnership opportunities and create business cases.

Perform data analysis to support strategic partnership activities.

Identify, implement, and execute segment-focused partnership activities.

Support new business generation through referral programs, partnerships, alternative channels, and community engagement.

Act as an external-facing segment specialist for partnerships and business development.

Provide follow-up and reporting on partnership and business development activities.

Prepare and present reports on significant trends and partnership outcomes.

Support or lead projects including scoping, business case building, and execution.

Collaborate with partners to maximize market opportunities, growth, and profitability.

Ideal Candidate

Strong written and verbal communication skills for developing whitepaper recommendations and creating materials for Executive Forums.

Proficient in Microsoft’s suite of products.

Passionate about people, finding meaning in relationships, and connecting with a diverse network.

Takes initiative and delivers results.

Demonstrates 1-3 years of experience in partnership & vendor management for business growth.
