Description

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk is responsible for developing and implementing risk management reports, systems, and processes for RBC Bank to minimize Enterprise risks. This role is part of Group Risk Management – RBC Bank Risk Management, focusing on managing the RBC Bank Chief Risk Officer Report / Enterprise Risk Report and providing risk reporting to the RBC Bank Board and its committees, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For

The role involves supporting the Enterprise Risk Appetite Framework, Limits Policy, and Governance processes. Key responsibilities include planning and conducting assessments of Enterprise risk metrics, developing governance policies and procedures, leading the preparation of the RBC Bank CRO Report, coordinating with the Enterprise Risk Management Committee secretary, providing effective challenge on risk materials, driving core team activities, staying updated on regulatory developments, preparing status reports and guidance, responding to audit and regulatory requests, reviewing 1LoD activities, and supporting Enterprise Risk transformation and escalation.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Law, Risk Management, or other related fields.,5+ years of experience in a Risk Management role in a Financial Services organization.,Demonstrated ability to think critically and facilitate change through collaborative effort.,Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.,Strong knowledge of risk management and/or governance standards & processes (management and/or board level).,Extensive knowledge and experience with various reporting, analysis, and presentation tools including MS Excel and Powerpoint.,General knowledge of key risk disciplines e.g., for all risks – Credit, Market, Liquidity, Strategic, etc.,Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Law or other related fields or Risk Management certification (e.g., FRM) (Nice-to-have).,Prior work developing processes and controls related to Heightened Standards or Reg YY (Nice-to-have).,3+ years of experience with risk areas, KPI and KRI (Nice-to-have).,3+ years of experience in project management or leadership (Nice-to-have).
