This role is for a Senior Manager within KPMG's Audit & Assurance practice, focusing on delivering high-quality audit work that supports trust and transparency for both public and private organizations. The position involves leading KPMG's audit teams, managing audits from planning to completion, ensuring the application of correct accounting practices and methodologies, and providing value to clients through insights and solutions. It emphasizes a culture of continuous learning, critical thinking, teamwork, and integrity.

What We're Looking For

Oversee and manage the audit of clients,Manage the audit from planning to completion of statements,Participate in the practice group to assist in implementing the business plan,Work with members of the assurance management group to meet financial plan goals,Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff,Help clients reach solutions on their needs,Work with clients and partners through complex accounting issues to come up with appropriate solutions,Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements

Ideal Candidate

Relevant post-secondary degree,Canadian CPA designation preferred or international equivalent preferred,8+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm,Previous experience using IFRS and PCAOB /controls working with publicly listed clients,Professional accounting firm experience
