Description
This role within KPMG's Audit & Assurance practice involves delivering high-quality work that fosters trust and transparency for public and private organizations. The Senior Manager will lead KPMG's audit teams, manage the entire audit process from planning to completion, and ensure the correct application of accounting practices and methodologies. Key responsibilities also include providing counsel, training, and mentorship to audit staff, assisting clients in resolving their needs, and navigating complex accounting issues alongside clients and partners.
What We're Looking For
Oversee and manage client audits from planning to completion.,Participate in the practice group to assist in implementing the business plan.,Work with the assurance management group to meet financial plan goals.,Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff.,Help clients find solutions for their needs.,Work with clients and partners through complex accounting issues to find appropriate solutions.,Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements.
Ideal Candidate
Must have Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.,Must have relevant post-secondary degree.,8+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm.,Previous experience using IFRS working with publicly listed clients.
