KPMG's Accounting Advisory Services in Vancouver is seeking a Senior Manager to lead client relationships and engagements. The role involves applying deep accounting insights to help clients with financial reporting challenges arising from transactions, business changes, and evolving accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, potentially ASPE). What We're Looking For

Lead KPMG's accounting advisory client relationships and engagements.,Cultivate opportunities and lead the delivery of accounting advisory engagements under IFRS, US GAAP (potentially ASPE), taking ownership from start to finish, including managing client deliverables, expectations, resourcing, and economics.,Lead and nurture client relationships.,Contribute to attracting, developing, and managing a growing team.,Remain current on applicable financial reporting standards, securities, and regulatory requirements.,Assist clients with evaluating accounting, reporting, and disclosure standards, preparing analyses, and analyzing framework differences.,Advise clients on accounting implications of mergers and acquisitions, framework conversion, new standards, or public offering/listing.,Develop fit-for-purpose solutions through understanding client preferences and constraints.,Assist clients in operationalizing financial reporting and regulatory reporting needs.,Work collaboratively with broader KPMG advisory teams including deal advisory, valuations, risk consulting, and finance transformation.

Ideal Candidate

CPA, CA (or recognized national accounting designation), along with a post-secondary degree and 6 or more years of experience in Big 4 accounting firms or equivalent.
