Description
TD Securities is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer (Engineer II) to join their team and contribute to strategic Repo trading initiatives. The role involves leveraging strong system knowledge and development skills to manage and deliver work related to the Repo business and the ION ANVIL trading platform. Responsibilities include designing and developing integrations, enhancing existing functionalities, resolving production issues, and maintaining Java-based components. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical analysis and Java development within Capital Markets and will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
What We're Looking For
Collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, project teams and third-party vendors to solve complex data and system integration problems.,Perform technical and business analysis to determine and document business requirements.,Create functional testing scripts and automated processes.,Maintain and enhance functionality of TD custom Java-based components for integrating with the ION Platform and internal systems.,Own complex technical testing and application upgrades.,Manage release and change, including automated deployment tools.,Provide technical expertise to Support teams for escalated incidents.
Ideal Candidate
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.,5-10 years of experience working in the Capital Markets domain.,Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.,Strong sense of ownership.,Customer-focused with a problem-solving mindset.,Takes pride in delivering robust, high-quality software.,Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.,Passionate about continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
