Senior Infrastructure Support Analyst, GFT

Description

RBC is looking for a highly skilled and experienced GL Application Administrator to join their Enterprise General Ledgers (eGL) team in Toronto. The role involves being a subject matter expert for PeopleSoft GL architecture and infrastructure, supporting ongoing business activities, and contributing to major system-wide initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Provide technical expertise and support for eGL, including software installation/configuration, infrastructure management, application management, and troubleshooting.,Liaise with internal RBC technology teams and external vendors to assess new technologies.,Manage infrastructure components like Windows and Linux/Unix servers, NAS, SAN.,Assist with provisioning/decommissioning infrastructure and troubleshoot problems.,Communicate and coordinate major changes/upgrades, review security vulnerabilities.,Act as an application administrator for PeopleSoft GL, bridging various teams.,Review and apply patches, work with infrastructure team on capacity needs.,Plan and test Disaster Recovery.,Administer, configure, and maintain all environments.,Open and manage problem tickets with vendors, troubleshoot application problems across multiple environments.,5+ years of infrastructure management experience (Windows and Unix servers, NAS, SAN, etc.).,Knowledge of DB2 and Oracle databases.,Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.,Excellent collaboration, communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Ideal Candidate

Experience with application management, including PeopleSoft GL.,Mainframe z/OS knowledge.,Experience with emerging technologies and trends in the Finance Technology space.,Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies.,Experience working in the financial industry.
