The Senior Financial Planning Advisor supports clients and National Bank Financial (NBF) investment advisors by providing financial information, consulting, and preparing comprehensive financial plans. The role involves offering expertise in advanced financial planning, taxation, and estate planning, working with a team of specialists across Canada.
What We're Looking For
Conduct interviews with clients, establish trust, and offer consulting meetings or tailored financial plans for high-net-worth clients.,Be a team player and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.,Manage multiple complex cases with tight deadlines in a constantly evolving environment.,Identify and develop business opportunities for National Bank Financial services and products.,Understand business issues and participate in developing practical financial planning solutions.,5+ years of relevant experience.,University degree in a relevant field (accounting, actuarial science, finance, economics, etc.).,Member of Financial Planner Canada.,In-depth knowledge of financial planning concepts, including personal and corporate taxation and pension plans.,Significant experience in a consulting role.,Ability to build strong professional relationships with various types of professionals.,Ability to simplify complex concepts.,Availability to work in NBF offices in Toronto.
Ideal Candidate
University degree in a relevant field (accounting, actuarial science, finance, economics, etc.),Member of Financial Planner Canada,Experience or master's degree in taxation (or CICA Indepth tax course) - Asset,Knowledge of insurance strategies - Asset,Knowledge of the wealth management field - Asset
