Description

This role supports the Finance team at RBC Malaysia, which provides Finance and Accounting services to RBC Malaysia and all of RBC's businesses in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia. The position involves performing profit and loss reporting for Capital Markets and Treasury Services in APAC, completing various financial reporting requirements, assisting with transfer pricing, and participating in local and global projects to drive process improvements and standardization.

What We're Looking For

Perform Profit and Loss Reporting for Capital Markets and Treasury Services in APAC.

Complete designated Finance and Head Office reporting in a timely manner.

Deliver Financial Reporting requirements in line with SLAs.

Provide a first-class service evidenced through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Complete designated reporting on a daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis (e.g., Australian and Asia Risk Committee materials, DFR/KRI statistics, Asia Consolidated P&L, Weekly Commentary, financial reporting for Management Committees and Boards).

Assist with Transfer Pricing booking and reporting, including reconciliation and ageing for various APAC businesses.

Actively participate in local and global projects, assisting in driving continuous process improvements such as report standardization and centralization.

Maintain standard, centralized processes to ensure effective and efficient management reporting.

Ensure procedure notes are current and maintained in line with best practices.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in an accounting and finance discipline.

Preferably with knowledge of financial instruments and P&L analytical skills.

Working knowledge and application of accounting concepts within a Financial Institution.

Exposure and understanding of regulatory requirements in APAC.
