Description

As a Senior Financial Advisor in the Personal and Business Banking Team, you will manage and grow a dedicated client portfolio. This involves key relationship management, creating comprehensive financial plans, and providing exceptional client service. You will proactively engage with new and existing clients to understand their goals, build financial plans using advanced CIBC tools, and provide advice. This role focuses on client engagement, business development through understanding the local market and networking, and community involvement to heighten CIBC brand awareness.

Ideal Candidate

1.5 – 3 years experience in a financial advisory role managing and growing a client portfolio.,Certified professional (CIRO-MFD).,Current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC)/Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC) and meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing upon hire.,Personal Financial Planner (PFP) within 24 months of hire.,For Quebec: Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing.,For Quebec: Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).,Asset: CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
