Description

The Senior Financial Advisor role involves managing and growing a dedicated client portfolio within the Personal and Business Banking Team, specifically delivering CIBC's Imperial Service approach. This includes creating comprehensive financial plans, providing trusted investment advice, and ensuring exceptional client service to help clients achieve their financial goals. The role requires proactive engagement with clients, business development, and community involvement to establish and enhance client relationships.

What We're Looking For

Manage and grow a dedicated client portfolio through key relationship management.,Create comprehensive financial plans for clients.,Provide exceptional client service and trusted investment advice.,Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs and build financial plans.,Cultivate networks to establish new client relationships.,Understand the local market and client base to develop a comprehensive sales plan.,Convert leads into new clients.,Leverage CIBC’s range of credit and investment solutions.,Attend local events and participate in marketing and outreach activities to heighten CIBC brand awareness.,Be flexible to work banking centre hours, which may include evenings and weekends.,Be flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.,Perform work on-site full-time.

Ideal Candidate

Postsecondary degree/diploma.,Current accreditation and good standing for Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID) licensing.,For Quebec: Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing, successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).,Asset: CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
