Senior Director Individual Life & Health New Business Operations

What We're Looking For

Lead highly skilled underwriting and operations teams to ensure efficient policy intake, issuance, and settlement, aligning with product pricing and risk philosophy.,Develop and execute strategies for strong portfolio quality and superior service experience within New Business Operations.,Collaborate with cross-functional partners including sales, audit, actuarial, corporate underwriting, and reinsurance.,Partner with Sales and Product teams to position RBC Insurance as a preferred carrier for brokerage partners and individual clients.,Utilize Data and Analytics to gain insights and drive operational strategies for business growth.,Foster a culture that attracts and engages top talent.,Minimum 10 years' experience leading Individual Life, Living Benefits, Critical Illness and Long-Term Coverage, New Business and Underwriting Operations.,Ability to build trust and strong partnerships internally and externally with MGAs, National Accounts, and Advisors.,Proven experience leading diverse, complex client-facing teams (Underwriters, Case Coordinators, Operations) to achieve business objectives and service levels.,Deep understanding of end-to-end insurance financial dynamics (pricing, profitability, portfolio quality).,Passion for creating an industry-leading Advisor and client experience.,Curiosity and innovative mindset to evolve the Individual New Business acquisition model and create scalable operations.,Leadership skills to influence and partner across a matrix management organization.,Ability to drive conceptual thinking, transformational insight, and change.
