The Senior Director, Business Applications Management supports Transactional Banking (TB) activities, with a focus on Commercial Banking (CB) and TB sales, product, digital, and middle office functions. This role involves managing a team of 10-15 full-time employees specializing in CRM, Billing, Lending, and Data applications. Key responsibilities include the strategic development, management, and profitability of these business applications within the Commercial and TB strategy, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and successful implementation and adoption. The role also encompasses stakeholder and vendor management, establishing governance, leading training programs, and fostering team development.
Develop and execute internal business application strategies for CRM, Billing, Lending, and Data to enhance workflows, accelerate automation, improve coordination, and minimize errors, managing an annual budget with a focus on modernization.,Manage business applications post-launch, ensuring operational efficiency, security, and leading resolution for production issues.,Partner with cross-functional teams and external partners, managing third-party vendors for support, enhancements, integration, and testing of CIBC systems.,Establish proper governance to track and record investment prioritizations and decisions, promoting accountability and transparency.,Lead the development of training programs and communications for business application launches and enhancements for internal stakeholders.,Manage and mentor a team of 10-15 FTEs, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous development.
Experience with Transaction Banking, Cash Management, and Lending.,Strong understanding and proven experience in strategic planning and implementation.,Digitally savvy.,Knowledge of product/application delivery, with extensive experience working with Technology and Operations partners.,Experience with data analytics and report building.,Financial modelling skills in Excel.,Advanced presentation skills leveraging PowerPoint.,Project and Program Delivery experience and expertise.,Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.,Caring and accountable leader with experience developing and implementing strategic team goals.,Experience coaching employees and inspiring successful team performance.,Strong presentation and facilitation skills in conveying factual and conceptual information and ideas on complex technical and conceptual issues.,Embodies CIBC values: trust, teamwork, and accountability.
