The National Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Director of Asset Management to join its Wealth Management IT Delivery sector. This role involves leading a major and innovative transformation within a dynamic, independent, and accountable work environment. The Senior Director will play a key role in building the IT of tomorrow, developing a highly qualified expert team, and growing within a solid national company. The position offers maximum flexibility with a hybrid work environment and a flexible schedule.

What We're Looking For

Actively participate and bridge initiatives, projects and application developments to comply with technological requirements.,Assist the application portfolio manager in developing an annual program of initiatives, projects and maintenance.,Oversee the development and maintenance of applications and ensure sound management of IT hygiene with a view to continuous improvement.,Participate, plan and direct (depending on the initiative) the design, development, integration, implementation and maintenance of information systems, and supervise/manage the execution of these activities to meet budget and acceptable timeframes.,Communicate problems to management with the parties concerned for resolution, if necessary.,Define and monitor SLO/SLAs (service level objectives and service level agreements), and ensure timely problem resolution and support.,Assist/coach talent in their career paths.,Bridge with cross-sector teams to communicate and apply the Bank's standards and standards.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in a related field or other diploma and several years of relevant experience.,Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams in an agile delivery context.,Experience in managing the lifecycle of the IT asset portfolio, their availability, operational support and associated budgets.,Ability to manage several partners simultaneously.,Concrete experience in managing personnel, projects and managing external suppliers.,Knowledge of Wealth Management, a major asset.
