Senior DevOps Engineer
Description
The Senior DevOps Engineer at TD Bank will be responsible for automating deployment processes, managing code releases, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines. This role involves ensuring system security and performance, developing and maintaining automated builds and deployments using GitHub Actions for various components and microservices. Key responsibilities also include responding to application build, deployment, and infrastructure requirements, creating solutions compliant with IT standards and security policies, and providing application systems operational availability. The role requires leading DevOps practices, identifying technical problems, managing library upgrades, and mentoring team members.

Automate deployment processes,Manage code releases,Improve CI/CD pipelines,Ensure system security and performance,Develop, maintain, manage, and continually improve automated GitHub Actions builds and deployments for multiple components and microservices,Manage code releases of multiple components,Respond to application build, deployment and infrastructure requirements,Create solutions that meet IT standards, procedures, security, and enterprise policies,Service applications and systems, provide application systems, operational availability levels that meet or exceed standards and service levels already established, while minimizing operational risk,Play a leading role in the DevOps practice for the team,Design and instrument practices that keep systems safe and secure,Identify technical problems,Manage library upgrades and fixes,Break down larger DevOps tasks into manageable work units and advise on prioritization of improvements,Examine, inspect, and write build/deployment scripts and resolve issues,Service applications and systems to provide operational availability consistent with service level expectations,Mentor others and work independently in a senior/lead capacity,Identify and proactively address build, deploy, functional, and performance problems
