Senior Data Scientist
Description
As a Senior Data Scientist in the models, Technology and Transformation team at National Bank, you will be a modelling expert. This role involves using analytical skills and modelling knowledge to positively impact partner and client experience. You will work with various partners on high-impact modelling mandates, analyze needs, manage stakeholders, develop and optimize client risk assessment models, and contribute to model governance and financial crime reporting. You will be part of a team within the Compliance sector, focusing on fighting money laundering through expertise, collaboration, and creativity.
What We're Looking For
Work with various partners to carry out high-impact modelling mandates.,Analyze the needs and manage stakeholders in relation to these mandates.,Develop, maintain and optimise client risk assessment models.,Meet the standards for the statistical modelling and model documentation process.,Contribute to model governance activities and the creation and evolution of processes surrounding risk models.,Contribute to financial crime reporting or analysis activities.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's degree or master's degree (in statistics, data science, mathematics, computer science or a related field),4 to 6 years of relevant experience,Experience in modelling, statistical analysis and using large volumes of data.,Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management.,Proficiency in SAS, SAS Viya, SQL and Python and good knowledge of the Power BI tool.
