Senior Data Analyst, Product Analytics

Description

This role at Mistplay's Data department focuses on improving business performance through insightful analysis and driving analytics strategy. The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate with Product & Lifecycle Managers to plan and analyze A/B tests and engagement campaigns, identify actionable insights from user behavior data, define KPIs, build automated dashboards and reports, design and analyze multivariate product experiments, and work with various stakeholders to define business problems and create execution plans.

Enhance Mistplay's business performance through insightful analysis and driving analytics strategy.,Collaborate with Product & Lifecycle Managers to plan and analyze A/B tests and engagement campaigns.,Drive insights reporting to inform the release of new product features and engagement strategies.,Conduct proactive analysis of product funnels, user cohorts, and user behavior data to identify growth opportunities.,Define KPIs and build automated dashboards, reports, and models for decision-making.,Design, orchestrate, and analyze multivariate product experiments to drive growth and improve features.,Collaborate with data, product, marketing, and engineering stakeholders to define business problems, scope projects, identify risks, and create execution plans.

Ideal Candidate

BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields.,3-4 years of work experience doing quantitative analysis (preferably in the tech industry) with a proven track record of impacting business or product decisions.,Pro-level ability to synthesize and communicate complex concepts and analyses in simple, easy-to-understand ways to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences.,Familiarity with online lifecycle marketing concepts (email, push notifications, attribution strategies).,Past experience in A/B testing and strong foundational knowledge of core inferential statistics concepts (significance, power, confidence intervals, variance, etc.).,Fluency in SQL.,Experience pulling highly dimensional and complex data, as well as modeling scenarios and sensitivity analysis using Excel.,Experience with Python or another programming tool for statistical modeling.,Familiarity with Tableau or any BI tool.,Familiarity with cloud data technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Databricks to query and build data models and reports.,Positive attitude and a healthy dose of natural curiosity.
