Senior Data Analyst, Product Analytics

Description

This role involves enhancing Mistplay's business performance through insightful data analysis and by driving analytics strategy. The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate with Product & Lifecycle Managers to plan and analyze A/B tests and engagement campaigns, and generate insights reports to inform the release of new product features and engagement strategies. Key responsibilities include proactive analysis of product funnels and user cohorts to identify improvement areas, defining KPIs, building automated dashboards, designing and analyzing multivariate product experiments, and collaborating with various stakeholders to define problems and create execution plans.

What We're Looking For

Conduct proactive analysis to identify actionable insights, including diving into core product funnel, user cohorts, and analyzing user behavior data to identify areas for improvement and new business opportunities.,Define KPIs for the company and build automated dashboards, reports, and models to enable better decision-making.,Design, orchestrate, and analyze the results of multivariate product experiments to drive growth, improve existing product features, and test new areas of opportunity.,Collaborate with data, product, marketing, and engineering stakeholders to define business problems, scope out projects, identify risks and dependencies, and create execution plans.

Ideal Candidate

BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields.,3-4 years of work experience doing quantitative analysis (preferably in the tech industry) with a proven track record of impacting business or product decisions.,Pro-level ability to synthesize and communicate complex concepts and analyses in simple, easy-to-understand ways to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences.,Familiarity with online lifecycle marketing concepts, including email, push notifications, and attribution strategies.,Past experience in A/B testing and a strong foundational knowledge of core inferential statistics concepts (significance, power, confidence intervals, variance, etc.).,Positive attitude and a healthy dose of natural curiosity.,Bonus: A love of gaming and familiarity with the games industry.,Bonus: Understanding of data science and machine learning techniques.,Bonus: Experience working with very large data sets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop).,Bonus: Experience working with multichannel marketing platforms such as Braze.
