Senior Counsel, Regulatory (R27221)

Description

Epic's regulatory team advises the company on new global laws and regulations, collaborates with the Public Policy Team to monitor regulatory developments, and works with subject matter experts, Product Counsel, and the Compliance Team to design compliance programs and educate counsel on regulatory requirements. The role also assists with responses to regulatory investigations and requests from regulators.

What We're Looking For

Advise Epic senior management, Product Counsel, the Compliance Team, and Legal leadership on key global laws and regulations, including online safety frameworks.

Lead multi-stakeholder regulatory compliance strategies.

Provide legal analysis of legislative and regulatory drafts to the Public Policy team.

Support advocacy and engagement with regulators and trade associations.

Respond to global regulatory inquiries and investigations.

Ideal Candidate

A qualified attorney with at least 8 years of experience working in regulatory compliance, either within a regulatory body, in-house or at a law firm.

If based outside of North America, the willingness and ability to consistently work US Eastern time zone hours.

Experience handling regulatory enforcement actions brought by regulatory bodies.

Prior work and/or substantial knowledge of the tech industry; a good working knowledge of tech or video games is an advantage.
