Description
Epic Games is seeking a Senior Counsel for its Regulatory team. This role involves advising on global laws and regulations, leading compliance strategies, providing legal analysis of legislative drafts, supporting engagement with regulators, and responding to regulatory inquiries and investigations. The team provides legal solutions and consultation on products and games developed by Epic.
What We're Looking For
Advise Epic senior management, Product Counsel, the Compliance Team and Legal leadership on key global laws and regulations, including online safety frameworks,
Lead multi-stakeholder regulatory compliance strategies,
Provide legal analysis of legislative and regulatory drafts to the Public Policy team,
Support advocacy and engagement with regulators and trade associations,
Respond to global regulatory inquiries and investigations,
Work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment,
Work collaboratively with a broad range of individuals and teams
Ideal Candidate
A qualified attorney with at least 8 years of experience working in regulatory compliance, either within a regulatory body, in-house or at a law firm,
Experience handling regulatory enforcement actions brought by regulatory bodies,
Prior work and/or substantial knowledge of the tech industry; good working knowledge of tech or video games is an advantage
