This role at KPMG's Deal Advisory team in Toronto involves using data analytics to help clients in transaction processes. The professional will evaluate business performance, analyze large datasets to generate insights, and create detailed reports and dashboards. They will also support other business units in expanding their use of data and analytics.
Evaluate a business' historical performance, sustainability of earnings/cash flows, financial projections, and opportunities for value creation.
Work with large volumes of data (structured and unstructured) - investigate and perform deeper analysis to produce impactful insights to achieve targeted outcomes.
Draft detailed professional reports and other client deliverables e.g., Excel schedules, PowerBI dashboards, results of predictive models.
Develop and support other business units to identify use cases and increase the use of data & analytics in a cross-functional role.
Utilize KPMG proprietary and third-party data analytics tools to deliver deeper insights.
Develop analytical procedures and templates.
Post-Secondary education equivalent to a university degree in Business or numerate or analytical disciplines such as Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science.
3+ years of work experience in a related field; experience in professional services and the deal environment an asset.
