KPMG is seeking a Senior Consultant for its Cyber Security team in the Ontario & Atlantic regions. This role involves working with clients across various industries to enhance their cybersecurity posture, manage risks, and build resilience in the digital world. The consultant will assess cyber maturity, design governance frameworks, implement strategic roadmaps, analyze cybersecurity costs, and develop various security programs. Conduct cyber maturity and cyber risk assessments using various methodologies and frameworks,Develop and evaluate cybersecurity strategies, governance frameworks, and target operating models,Draft and support the implementation of cybersecurity roadmaps,Analyze cybersecurity costs to identify optimization opportunities,Assess the organizational capabilities of cybersecurity teams,Establish cybersecurity control frameworks and perform control testing to assess design, implementation, and operating effectiveness,Write cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines tailored to organizational requirements,Develop cybersecurity metrics and benchmarking tools,Design strategic cybersecurity dashboards to support executive decision-making,Deliver advisory services to address business and IT risks,Report on cybersecurity risks for a diverse range of audiences,Support clients with cyber training and awareness initiatives,Develop, facilitate, and participate in cybersecurity tabletop exercises,Create and deliver presentations to communicate findings and recommendations,Contribute to business development efforts, including RFP responses and proposal support,Develop and deliver cyber resilience plans and related materials to reduce operational impacts
3–5 years of experience working on cybersecurity projects or activities,Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent technical training (preferred),MBA or master’s degree (an asset),Progress towards or achieved CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, or other relevant designations and technical IT skills as part of a continuous professional development program,Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 27005, ISO 19011, and NIST,Experience in consulting or across various industry sectors (an asset),Strong understanding of industry sectors and business environments (an asset)
