KPMG is seeking Senior Consultants for their Technology Risk Services team. The role primarily involves performing IT risk reviews and providing IT internal audit support across various IT risk domains. Responsibilities include assessing data governance, system asset management tooling, IT projects, and broader information security topics, as well as training junior staff.
Conduct assessments of IT risks and controls for internal and external audit engagements (e.g., data governance models, IT projects, third-party management, system asset management tooling).,Support assessments for broader information security topics and IT General Controls (ITGCs).,Monitor relevant technology risk standards and practices.,Develop risk and control matrices and review procedures.,Provide advice on business process controls.,Manage engagement risks, including quality assurance, planning, development, monitoring, and profitability.,Simultaneously deliver multiple client engagements.,Engage in business development by increasing firm awareness, developing relationships, preparing proposals, and identifying opportunities.,Conduct research, perform technical testing, write reports, conduct interviews, and communicate with clients.,Guide field engagement teams and coach/mentor junior staff.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.,Completion of relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, ISO27001).,Strong understanding and experience with IT General Controls and controls-based audits (e.g., SOC 1, ISO 27001).,Experience with implementing and/or evaluating data governance structures, system asset tooling, IT projects (like system implementations), and IT governance.,Experience in testing controls in different IT environments.
