At KPMG, this role involves joining a team focused on turning insight into opportunity for clients. The Senior Consultant will be part of the Technology Risk Consulting services team, primarily performing business continuity planning assessments, developing plans, and facilitating table-top exercises.
Conduct assessments of business continuity management plans including business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management plans to identify gaps and opportunities for improvements.,Design business continuity programs and roadmaps to implement the different plans and practices.,Perform business impact assessments and support organizations in identifying the prioritizations of their business continuity planning practices.,Monitor relevant business continuity standards and practices.,Develop risk and control matrices and review procedures.,Work on several IT internal audit engagements and deliver on various technology risk projects.,Manage engagement risk: quality assurance through file review, engagement planning, development and monitoring, engagement profitability.,Simultaneously deliver multiple client engagements of varying size, scope and complexity.,Engage in business development: active role in the business community, developing relationships with internal staff and clients, developing proposals, identifying and pursuing opportunities.,Conduct research, perform technical testing, write reports, conduct interviews and communicate regularly with clients and resources.,Lead field engagement teams as well as coaching and mentoring junior staff members.
Bachelor's or Master's degree required, or equivalent experience.,Completion of relevant certifications (e.g., ABCP, CBCP, CISA, CRISC).,3 to 5 years of relevant experience in assessing, developing or managing business continuity, including Disaster Recovery Planning, Business Continuity Planning, and Crisis Management.,Working knowledge of ISO 22301, ISO 22317, or ISO 22361.,Experience with developing and facilitating tabletop exercises.
