KPMG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Governance and Risk Management Senior Consultant to join their Information Technology Risk Services team. This role involves advising clients on AI governance best practices, developing risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations and ethical standards, and undertaking challenging projects across various industries. The consultant will also analyze business processes, improve client performance, and foster strong relationships while developing professional skills.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in computer science with a focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning; Master's degree in Management of AI technologies preferred.,Minimum of 3 years of experience in AI governance, risk management, or a related field.,Strong understanding of AI technologies, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and ethical considerations in AI.,Strong understanding of the latest AI regulations and frameworks.,Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL to analyze AI model performance and risk metrics.,Understanding of machine learning algorithms and their implications for risk (e.g., supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, natural language processing).,Ability to work effectively in a project team environment with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.,Ability to explain data and analytics concepts to non-technical team members.,Ability to apply data and analytics concepts to business problems.,Ability to understand and explain business value of data and analytics concepts, including data governance and management fundamentals.,Knowledge of basic machine learning to collaborate with the team on ML projects.,Experience in visual exploration to perform data discovery and highlight insights.,Knowledge of how specific visual components drive usability and understanding.,A knack for storytelling with purpose.,Strong facilitation and collaboration abilities to conduct discussions and workshops with engineers and business analysts, advocate for positive user experience, and recommend potential solutions.
