Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Description

This role is for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join the Infrastructure and Operations team in Poland, focusing on designing, automating, and operating secure and scalable AWS-based platforms. The position also involves supporting core enterprise infrastructure services within complex hybrid environments that combine public cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

The role requires designing, implementing, and operating secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure. Responsibilities include supporting and evolving hybrid cloud environments, performing advanced operating system troubleshooting on Linux and Windows platforms, and leading Infrastructure as Code initiatives using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK. The engineer will also develop and maintain automation using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash), implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions, contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, ensure adherence to security standards and compliance, participate in infrastructure modernization, and collaborate with global cross-functional teams.

Ideal Candidate

Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer), experience with datacenter architecture and high-performance networking, and familiarity with enterprise security standards and regulatory frameworks. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience, is also preferred.
