RBC's Global Functions Technology (GFT) division is seeking a talented and results-driven Business Analyst. This role involves collaborating with partners across the company to deliver innovative IT solutions, focusing on requirements gathering, supporting development and testing teams for medium to large-scale project initiatives, and working with high data volume critical business and regulatory projects. The successful candidate will gain exposure to major banking products and work with various stakeholders to build efficient and scalable solutions.
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, business rules, and data sources.,Understand product attributes, data flow, and perform data gap analysis.,Communicate requirements to development and QA teams, perform testing, coordinate UAT, and assist in production implementation.,Report BA status and raise concerns/issues to management and PMs.,Contribute to process re-engineering and improvement.,Support user training and documentation.,3-5 years' work experience as a Business Analyst in the banking industry with systems implementation, integration, or re-engineering projects.,Experience in SQL and data sourcing/mappings for Capital Market products.,Ability to take initiative, be result-oriented, and work independently with multiple priorities.,Knowledge of SDLC lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Undergraduate degree or higher, preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance.
