RBC is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for the Global Operations, Credit & Supervisory Controls Technology team, specifically within Supervisory Control Technology. This role involves working with the Capital Markets Access Control (CMACS platform) to manage application access requests, authorizations, provisioning, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will apply technical and functional skills in an an agile environment to build innovative technical solutions.
Key responsibilities include requirements analysis, elicitation, management, and documentation. This involves conducting interviews and surveys, running small to medium enhancement projects, and translating business needs into system requirements. Must-have skills include 5-7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with advanced knowledge of application test planning and execution, data warehousing, reporting concepts, business processes, and relational/dimensional data modeling. Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, SQL, data mapping using various file formats, Excel macros, pivot tables, and Confluence is required. The ability to perform dual roles of Business Systems Analyst and QA, coupled with strong documentation, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, is essential.
Must-have: 5-7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, advanced knowledge of Application test planning and execution, knowledge of Data warehousing and reporting concepts, understanding of business process and relational/dimensional data modeling concepts, understanding of RDBMS concepts and SQL knowledge, data mapping experience, Excel macros and pivot tables, Confluence. Nice-to-have: Previous industry experience specific to Access Control, Requisitioning and Provisioning of access, experience with Unix, Windows user groups provisioning and access control, automated testing experience, experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
