The Senior Business Systems Analyst at TD Bank leverages specialized domain and product knowledge to understand business needs and translate them into detailed functional specifications. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to design future state solutions, ensuring traceability of system requirements, supporting testing, and promoting innovation while adhering to existing standards and contributing to team development and knowledge transfer.

What We're Looking For

Thorough understanding of business, product, and vision through specialized domain, product, and systems knowledge.,Identify, document, and validate current state technology capabilities/ecosystem and support stakeholders to design the desired future state.,Provide recommendations and/or direction based on the end-to-end customer experience.,Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine solutions, assess impact, and manage integration.,Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, considering non-functional requirements.,Own and manage traceability of system requirements through design, development, testing, and deployment.,Support testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results.,Provide support/oversight and guidance in the delivery of technology requirements with focus on quality, reusability, scalability, and innovation.,Adhere to existing processes/standards including requirements management technology delivery practices and standards, and business technology architecture.,Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area, keeping current with leading-edge technology trends/developments.,Support and contribute to change management planning and activities, including operational readiness, implementation, and post-implementation.,Participate fully as a member of the team, supporting a positive work environment.,Provide thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge, participating in knowledge transfer.,Lead technology requirements management for high-risk, strategic initiatives.,Identify and lead problem resolution for complex technology requirements-related issues.,Lead and provide guidance on the identification, maintenance, and reporting of traceability of system requirements.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.,5-7 years relevant experience.,Experience building large-scale AI systems or enterprise-grade ML applications.,Advanced to Expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques.,Advanced to Expert knowledge of systems and applications supported by the team, including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rules.,Advanced to Expert knowledge of enterprise technology delivery practices and standards.,Advanced understanding of business supported and business analysis.,Experience working in Agile (an asset).,Financial services industry knowledge (an asset).
