HH Angus is seeking a Senior Building Electrical Engineer for their expanding regional office in Montreal. The engineer will work with experienced professionals on diverse projects in sectors such as mission-critical systems, public transportation, secure facilities, hospitals, office buildings, and airports, with a focus on career growth and development.
What We're Looking For
Provide individual contributions as a seasoned professional.,Develop technical designs for complex, high-value, and multidisciplinary projects.,Independently create conceptual drawings, design specifications, and assess constructability.,Independently develop and approve standards and reports.,Contribute to project planning, participate in project management meetings, and recommend improvements to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.,Review the work of junior engineers on conventional projects.,Manage personal work within budget hours.,Take responsibility for all design aspects until construction completion.,Autonomously resolve difficult and complex problems.,Supervise construction work on project sites.
Ideal Candidate
University Degree in Electrical Engineering,10 or more years of experience in consulting engineering,Registered member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec),Perfectly bilingual (French and English),Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit,Forward-thinking with a desire to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas,Strong documentation and accuracy skills,Ability to collaborate and work effectively with diverse and multidisciplinary teams,Passion for buildings and the built environment
