Senior BI Advanced Analyst- Corporate Security

Bell Canada is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior BI Advanced Analyst for Corporate Security. This role involves acting as a 'data detective' to identify and mitigate security risks, protecting Bell customers and assets. The analyst will combine technical expertise with strong business acumen, working with a collaborative team to solve complex puzzles and drive change through innovation and open communication.

What We're Looking For

Take ownership of detection and prevention coverage for suspicious transactions.

Design, develop, test, and maintain robust threat detection strategies using Enterprise Management Systems and advanced analytics.

Utilize SQL (GCP, Oracle, Teradata, SAS, Hadoop) to mine large datasets.

Create and maintain dashboards (Tableau, SAP BO, Microstrategy) to visualize trends for diverse audiences.

Proactively analyze the landscape to identify gaps in current threat strategies.

Monitor volumes and impact, prioritizing new strategies that maximize security while minimizing customer friction.

Identify opportunities to apply AI/Machine Learning models to threat detection and define requirements for the AI development team.

Build strong, effective relationships with Operations teams, acting as a bridge between technical data and business outcomes.

Work within an agile methodology to deliver value quickly, adapting to ever-changing criminal tactics.

Ideal Candidate

Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex queries, stored procedures, data structures).

Experience working with large enterprise data warehouses and tools to process data (GCP Big Query, Cloud Composer / Airflow, Dataflow / Beam, Looker, Tableau, etc.).

Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights, focusing on results and bottom-line impact.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple deadlines autonomously.

Exceptional spoken and written communication skills, able to tell a compelling story with data to managers and executives.

Energetic, open to change, and a collaborative team player, contributing to a positive team environment.

Experience in Fraud Detection, Cyber Security, E-Commerce, or Telecommunications (preferred).

Experience with Public Cloud (GCP, AWS) and distributed file systems (Hadoop) (preferred).

Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Microstrategy (preferred).

Experience with ETL tools (GCP BigQuery, Dataflow / Beam), SQL, Python (preferred).

Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts (preferred).

Experience with JIRA and Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred).
