Description

This role involves leading or participating in audit planning, execution, and reporting within CIBC's Infrastructure portfolios (Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Retail Services) to identify control weaknesses, process efficiencies, and emerging risks. The Senior Audit Manager will operate with significant independence, manage audit timelines, and provide expert guidance to management. The position follows a hybrid work model.

What We're Looking For

Lead or participate in planning, executing, and reporting risk-based audits within Infrastructure portfolios.,Identify and communicate control weaknesses, process efficiencies, and emerging risks.,Provide leadership, expertise, and proactive control guidance to management and stakeholders.,Manage audit timelines, stakeholder engagement, and deliverables independently.,Champion best practices and stay updated on regulatory developments.,Effectively manage multiple audits and internal projects, ensuring completion within timelines.,Review audit work for quality and compliance with standards.,Provide advice to the audit team and business management on process and control effectiveness.,Coach and develop team members.,Communicate clearly and concisely with executives, regulators, and external auditors.,Develop strong internal and external relationships.

Ideal Candidate

Degree/diploma in Business, Accounting or Finance (e.g., M.B.A.),Professional designation (e.g., CPA, CFA, CIA) or equivalent business experience
