This role is for a Senior Associate in Fixed Income Settlements within TD Securities' Global Operations and Business Services. The individual will be responsible for managing daily settlement transactions across various fixed income products, handling all settlement functions from trade date to settlement date, including trade fails and buy-ins. The position involves interacting with global operations groups, mitigating risk, and providing world-class service to clients. It also focuses on process improvements, control reviews, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. Manage daily settlement transactions across multiple fixed income products for Fed settlements.,Responsible for all settlement functions across assigned legal entities from trade date to settlement date, including trade fails and buy-ins.,Interact with various global operations groups to provide client service.,Support stakeholders and develop internal & external relationships.,Identify and troubleshoot settlement issues, fails, and trade mismatches.,Understand and provide resolutions to trade and cash reconciliation.,Take ownership of the design and operating effectiveness of key controls and processes.,Stay informed on industry and market driven initiatives to understand risks and impacts.,Responsible and accountable for delivery of key objectives within the team and broader Securities Settlement function.,Build strong relationships and work collaboratively within Global Operations and Business Services teams.
6+ years’ experience within Capital Markets: Fixed Income Operations/Settlements.,Strong Understanding of trade lifecycle from trade capture through post settlement.,Experience with BONY – BDC and Access Edge systems, Broadridge IMPACT and RTTM exposure.,Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline sensitive environment.,A self-starter who is comfortable in a complex role that interfaces regularly with clients, front office, technology, finance, and trade support teams.,Strong product knowledge including rollout and integration, accompanied with a strong lean mentality.,A proven risk assessment and management skill set, fostering a zero tolerance policy for poor integrity and risk taking.,Bachelor's degree, or specialized training / equivalent work experience.
