The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Archer Developer to join its Archer Platform Technology team. The role involves leading the design, development, and enhancement of the Archer Platform to support various business stakeholders. Key responsibilities include analysis, documenting design requirements, configurations, and supporting system and software deployments.
Develop, document, and execute unit tests within the Archer application,
Conduct analyses of organizational needs and goals for application system development and implementation,
Maintain in-depth understanding of Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) standards,
Provide leadership and guidance to the project delivery team,
Prepare high-level and detailed technical specifications and user stories for projects,
Implement complex workflows, integrations, business rules, and data structures,
Develop detailed plans and accurate estimations for project phases,
2+ years of Archer development experience,
Experience with two or more of: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XSLT, Python,
SDLC process and Agile project methodology experience,
Strong knowledge of workflow design and application development techniques
Business Analysis skills (Nice to have),
Project Management skills (Nice to have),
Experience configuring GRC tools similar to Archer (Nice to have),
Experience capturing and refining requirements directly from business stakeholders (Nice to have),
Knowledge of IT Standards, Methodologies & Audit requirements (Nice to have),
Project delivery experience on GRC projects (Regulatory Compliance, Operational Risk, IT Risk, Disaster Recovery, Supplier Risk, Privacy Risk) (Nice to have),
Experience with: Java, C#, SQL, Tableau, Ansible, Openshift (Nice to have)
