Senior Analyst, FIC Sales Support EMEA

Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Operational Services team at RBC. The team supports both RBC Europe Ltd and RBC London Branch Equities and Fixed Income sales support functions. The role involves ensuring daily tasks and controls align with departmental procedures, while also assisting the Associate Director/Director with projects, process improvements, or new business initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Investigate processing issues and recommend courses of action to the Team Manager, assisting in execution of proposed changes.,Monitor Middle Office systems (Salesbook, GBOI) and exceptions.,Book all allocations of Block trades, including CTM, FIX, voice, ALEX, GTC, ECN.,Ensure all relevant reports and reconciliations are performed, breaks are notated and cleared, then passed for sign off.,Monitor shared mailboxes and action enquiries.,Provide best-in-class client services to both internal and external clients, responding to queries within agreed timeframes.,Act as a point of contact for the Sales/Trade teams and Settlements.,Escalate unusual behaviour and processing issues to the Associate Director or above in a timely manner, following the Operations Escalation Policy.,Proven experience within Sales Support and Settlements, within an operations environment.,Strong knowledge of Equity & Fixed Income products and processes.,Excellent knowledge of external market systems, such as CTM / Alert / Bloomberg.,Meticulous attention to detail.,Effective Communicator, both verbal and written.
