The Senior Analyst, BlackLine Capability Hub at CIBC is responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting the BlackLine platform, which is critical for financial close, account reconciliation, and automation. The role involves assisting with global reconciliation processes to ensure the completeness and accuracy of CIBC’s Balance Sheet, providing user support, delivering training, identifying process improvements, and engaging with stakeholders. This position operates under a hybrid work model.

What We're Looking For

Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the BlackLine platform.,Provide first-line support to Blackline users, resolving queries and issues promptly.,Stay updated on Blackline product enhancements and best practices.,Develop and deliver training programs for BlackLine system users and local administrators.,Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation through BlackLine workflows.,Communicate effectively with Leaders and other stakeholders regarding system enhancements, risks, and opportunities.,Support data analysis and reconciliation activities.,Assist on the Global Balance Sheet control strategy to ensure the completeness, and accuracy of CIBC’s Balance sheet.

Ideal Candidate

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.,Prior experience with Blackline or similar financial close/reconciliation platforms.,Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial close processes.,Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.,Digitally savvy, seeking innovative solutions and embracing evolving technologies.,Ability to investigate complex problems and communicate detailed information meaningfully.
