Senior Analyst, Asset Servicing EMEA

Description

This role is for a Senior Analyst in Asset Servicing within European Operations at RBC Capital Markets. The individual will be responsible for monitoring and processing Corporate Events for securities trading businesses and their clients, ensuring accurate books and records, and delivering a seamless client experience. The position acts as a first line of defense to trading businesses by mitigating operational risks.

What We're Looking For

Complete all daily tasks and controls in accordance with departmental PRIMA maps and procedures.,Assist the Team Manager and/or Department Head with projects, process improvements, or new business initiatives.,Continuously develop product and market knowledge to reduce operational risks.,Escalate unusual behavior and processing issues to the Team Manager in a timely manner, following the Operations Escalation Policy.,Ensure processing maps and procedures are current and adhere to RBC Policies.,Investigate processing issues, recommend, and assist in executing proposed changes.,Support colleagues during busy periods by sharing workloads.,Provide best-in-class client services to internal and external clients by responding to queries within agreed timeframes.

Ideal Candidate

Strong Corporate Action experience.,Good knowledge of Equity and Fixed Income products, and processes around Corporate Actions.,Knowledge of market infrastructure, including Settlement Agents, Nostro Agents, and Clearing Houses.,Ability to perform analysis of business processes and implement change.,Strong PC literacy and experience in all MS packages.,High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
